Data Deletion

Last updated: June 24, 2026

This page explains what data StreamOK ("we", "us", or "our") holds and how you can request its deletion. StreamOK is a local video player for Android. We are committed to keeping the amount of data we hold to a minimum.

1. Your videos are not stored by us

StreamOK plays video files that are already on your device. We never upload, copy, or store your videos, their contents, their file names, or their file paths. There is nothing for us to delete, because we never receive this data in the first place. To remove videos, manage them directly on your device.

2. Data we do hold

The limited data associated with the App is:

  • a) Anonymous usage data. When you install and open the App, it sends an anonymous signal to our server containing a randomly generated identifier (not your advertising ID, device ID, name, email, or phone number), the event type (install or open), an approximate country code, and a timestamp. This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • b) Contact form messages. If you contacted us through the in-app support form, we hold the information you submitted (your name, email address, phone number, reason, and message) in our email inbox. This form is processed by our third-party provider, Formspree.
  • c) Data held by third parties. The App uses third-party services (Meta Audience Network for ads, Google Firebase for analytics and notifications). These providers may hold data such as your advertising identifier according to their own policies. Deletion of that data is controlled by those providers and by your device settings (see Section 5).

3. How to request deletion

To request deletion of data we hold, email us at streamok@yahoo.com. Please use the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and tell us what you would like deleted (for example, your contact form messages). We will process valid requests within 30 days.

Please note: because our usage data is anonymous and contains no information that identifies you, we are generally unable to locate and delete an individual person's usage records, as there is no way to link them to you. We can delete contact form messages associated with your email address.

4. Deleting the App

You can stop all data collection at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. Uninstalling removes the App and all data it stored locally on your device, including any App Lock PIN and app settings.

5. Controlling third-party data

You can limit data handled by third-party services directly:

  • Reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings (Settings, then Google, then Ads).
  • Disable notifications in your device settings or in the App.

For data held by our third-party providers, please refer to their privacy policies:

  • Meta: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
  • Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy
  • Formspree: https://formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy/
