Privacy Policy

StreamOK ("the app") is a video player that plays media files already stored on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app does and does not handle. StreamOK is operated by Fusion Media ("we", "us", "our").

The short version: StreamOK plays local files. Your videos never leave your device, there is no account to create, and we don't know who you are. The only data involved is anonymous, app-level usage and (later) advertising data.

1. What we do NOT collect

Your files never leave your device. StreamOK reads and plays video and audio stored locally. We do not upload, copy, scan, transmit, or back up your media to any server.
No account, no sign-in. StreamOK does not require registration. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any login credentials.
No personal content. We do not collect the contents, titles, thumbnails, or file paths of your videos, and we do not access your contacts, messages, photos library, or precise location.

2. What we collect

Anonymous usage & device data

To keep the app stable and improve it, StreamOK may collect anonymous, aggregated information that is not tied to your identity, such as:

App feature usage (e.g. which features are opened, playback events) in aggregate;
Crash reports and performance diagnostics;
General device and technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate region derived from your IP address.

This data is anonymous and used only to understand how the app performs and where to improve it.

Advertising data (planned)

A future version of StreamOK may display ads to keep the app free. When that happens, an advertising mediation network (see Section 3) may collect or process data such as a device advertising identifier, coarse/approximate location, and ad interaction events in order to serve and measure ads. We will update this policy and, where required, request consent before ads are introduced.

3. Third-party services

StreamOK relies on a small number of third parties:

Google Play — for app distribution, updates, and (if enabled) crash and usage reporting. Google's handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising mediation network (later) — once ads are enabled, a third-party ad mediation provider will serve ads within the app. Its data practices will be governed by that provider's own privacy policy, which we will link here when integrated.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

Because StreamOK does not store personal accounts, there is no personal profile to retain. Anonymous usage, diagnostic, and (later) advertising data are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above and in line with our service providers' standard retention periods, after which they are deleted or further anonymized.

5. Children's privacy

StreamOK is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can address it.

6. Your choices & data deletion

You can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time through your device's privacy settings, and you can uninstall the app to stop all data collection. Although we do not hold a personal account for you, you may request deletion of any data associated with your device.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, announced within the app.
